SO YOU WANT TO BE A FROGMAN. I'm so proud to be a small part of this fabulous display at the Navy Seal Museum in San Diego, CA. I made a replica of the bell rope and provided the 30 pound bell for the museum display. It was modeled after the bell mounted on the back of the truck driven by the legendary Navy Seal Instructor - Master Chief Terry 'Mother' Moy. The bell and rope are now on display in the museum.
Photo of the bell rope I made for the Moy Bell display at the Navy Seal Museum in San Diego, CA.
Navy Seal Terry Moy shown here in the recovery of the Apollo 17 capsule and crew. USS Ticonderoga CVS-14 lies in the background.

Master Chief Moy implemented the notorious bell at Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUDS) training in San Diego. Here is an excerpt from the museum's web site:
"Ringing the bell is a public declaration of quitting, a stark and powerful moment witnessed by fellow trainees and instructors alike. The sound of the bell reverberates through the training grounds, a clear signal that someone has reached their limit. The act of ringing the bell not only marks the end of their journey to become a Navy SEAL but also serves as a potent reminder to the remaining candidates of the relentless demands and high standards required to succeed".
